Profile (History of Yonekyu)

Dec. 1965
Solo proprietorship founded to manufacture and wholesale meat products in Kawase-cho of Numazu City in Shizuoka.
Feb. 1969
Incorporated as 「Yonekyu Meat Sale Service Corp.」
Nov. 1970
Constructed the main plant on current headquarters in Numazu near the Tomei Freeway exit.
Jul. 1978
Changed the company name to 「Yonekyu Corp.」
Oct. 1981
Completed construction of our Gotemba Plant, the first production facility of authentic raw ham in the industry.
Mar. 1987
Established 「Oishii Tori Corp.」
Jul. 1989
Registered with the Japan Securities Dealers Association for over-the-counter trading.
Oct. 1989
Established the Fuji plant.
Oct. 1989
Listed in the No.2 Section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange.
Oct. 1991
Established 「Rugoa Yonekyu Food Corp.」 in China.

Acquired all outstanding shares of 「Seven Foods Service Corp.」

Established 「Gotemba Kogen Beer Co., Ltd.」, and entered into the beverage industry.

Shizuoka plant and head office processing merged, established the Yume plant.

Established 「Nantong Fushimei Food Corp.」 in China.

Started full-scale production of sausages in California, United States.
